Starting life as a trailer, positioned at different locations around the city, Terrible Love Coffee found its way to the patio at the Baker School in 2022. Finding an appreciative community in Hyde Park, Brian Knowles, the proprietor, decided to put down roots, and transformed the school's small brick boiler room into a service window coffee shop. His customers enjoy their coffee in the landscaped patio set well away from street traffic, in the shade of a mighty old pecan tree. Specializing in carefully selected ethically sourced beans, they make a mighty good brew.
