Save The Good Stuff

Save the Good Stuff is a resource for architectural salvage materials in Austin. Finely curated and full of materials with meaning, the shop provides hard to find treasures that are perfect for a stately Victorian home, a Craftsman bungalow or a Mid-Century marvel. These unique pieces stand the test of time in design, craftsmanship and quality.

Salvaging materials isn’t just about reusing products in their traditional ways. Our talented staff can help you reimagine these old materials in innovative and unexpected ways, making your home unique and statement worthy.

Old growth long leaf pine flooring is nestled amongst countless cast iron window weights and doors from the old Elgin Butler Brick building turned Austin Chronicle offices, a building now lost to progress.

These materials are embodied with the history of Austin in a worn brass doorknob or weathered closet door. And each piece comes with a story that began in the past and continues with you.
